What is the Internet speed included in my HOA?
Come Nov 1, all units will be upgraded to SilverIP’s 500 Mbps plan, which provides symmetric download and upload speeds of 500 Mbps. For those interested in a faster plan, SilverIP offers an a la carte upgrade to 1 Gig (1,000 Mbps) at a low cost of $15/month. You can upgrade any time by contacting SilverIP.

How do I get my complimentary DirecTV Genie and mini Genie receivers?
Over the course of 3.5 weeks in November, SilverIP will be entering all of the units to swap out your DirecTV receivers. They will start on the top floor Nov 1st and work their way down the floors with the plan of being completed by Nov 23rd.

What will SilverIP do on my scheduled day?
SilverIP’s technicians will bring with them your new receivers. They will set aside your “old” receivers, connect and activate the new receivers, and program your new remote control to your TV.
What am I supposed to do with my “old” DirecTV receivers?
Following the installation of your new DirecTV receivers, you will have up to 3 weeks to take your “old” DirecTV receivers to FedEx. FedEx will provide you with all of the shipping materials including a shipping label and will ship them to DirecTV for you.
Are these new DirecTV receivers my receivers to keep?
No. These receivers belong to the Association and are to remain in the unit even when you move out.
What if I can not be home on my scheduled day?
It is encouraged for you to be present. However, if you can not be present, SilverIP technicians will be escorted by building staff who can provide entry in your absence. Alternatively, if you prefer to reschedule for a date you can be present, simply contact SilverIP to make special arrangements.
Will my existing recordings transfer when SilverIP swaps out my receivers?
Unfortunately, no. There is no way to transfer the recordings from one receiver to another. We recommend you watch all of your desired recordings prior to your scheduled day.
