When will SilverIP be upgrading my DIRECTV receivers?
Come Oct 1, SilverIP will be accepting special request appointments as well as performing a scheduled unit sweep starting on the building’s top floor (27th floor) to the bottom floor (6th floor). This unit sweep schedule is below.
What time on my scheduled day can I expect SilverIP at my unit?
SilverIP will begin on the top scheduled floor of each day and work their way down. Those on the top scheduled floor can expect SilverIP to arrive in the morning hours, while those on the lower floor can expect SilverIP to arrive in the afternoon hours. SilverIP will be starting each day around 9am and ending later in the afternoon around 4p.
Do I have to be present during the installation?
No, but It is highly encouraged so you can confirm that all of your services are working properly on all TVs before SilverIP leaves your unit. If you can not be present, a building staff representative will escort SilverIP into your unit in your absence. Alternatively, you make special arrangements by contacting SilverIP to schedule your visit on a day/time of your convenience.
What should I do with my “old” DirecTV receivers after SilverIP installs my new receivers?
Following the installation of your new receivers, SilverIP will leave your old receivers in your unit. You will then have up to 3 weeks to return your old receivers to any local FedEx. FedEx will provide the materials and shipping label at no cost to send your receivers back to DirecTV.
What is included in the DirecTV package with SilverIP?
Can I take the DirecTV receivers with me if I move out of my unit?
The DirecTV receivers are to stay in the unit and are not to be removed when you move out. Thank you.
